Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving independence in daily activities. Duties involve providing therapeutic interventions to enhance motor function, coordination, and adaptive skills, as well as training patients in the use of assistive devices and compensatory techniques. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Additional responsibilities include documenting patient progress, educating caregivers on safe techniques for patient support, and ensuring compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. The role also requires ongoing assessment and modification of treatment strategies to maximize functional outcomes and enhance patients’ quality of life.
Required: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related and CA OT License
